After "Take Your Kids to Work Day" resulted in more laughs than learns, we put together some soft skills and targeted areas for learning.
Soft skills - Sending an email. Scheduling a meeting on a calendar. Setting up a Zoom meeting, and sending invites.
Everybody has a social media account, so we're asking for a responsible post every day or so.
Our nine year old owes her friend a few letters.
Targeted skills - Our nine year old has some math pages from KCS. Our 14 year old has some bad report card data from Gresham. I put together some stuff from an American Literature CLEP test. We talk about this tonight in exchange for Harby's pizza & Zaxby's chicken.
